Ginevra vstoupila na hudební scénu v roce 1997, zpočátku hrála převzaté písně, na které navázala vlastní tvorbou na témata z české historie. Pověsti, balady, příběhy i historické události jsou pro Ginevru velkou inspirací již třetí desetiletí. Mezi písněmi můžete najít smutné balady, veselé skočné kramářské písničky, bojové chorály, ale i skladby k zamyšlení.

Pestrost témat volně inspirovaných středověkem podporuje i aranžmá písní spolu s nástrojovým obsazením. Převládají soudobé hudební nástroje jako kytary, mandolína, mandola, elektrická basa, housle, flétny, konga, doplněné o repliky historických krumhornů a rytmických nástrojů. Výstižné i vtipné je označení tvorby Ginevry jako „diskotéka Karla IV.“

Při koncertech v romantickém prostředí našich hradů, zámků, muzeí či městských slavností zaměřených na historii se oblékáme do dobových kostýmů, které pomáhají přiblížit divákům atmosféru dávných let.
Díky naší hudbě jsme poznali spousty milých lidiček doma i ve světě, ale těm domácím, kteří nás vždy podporovali, těm všem z celého srdce děkujeme za dlouholetou přízeň.

  The music band Ginevra (CZ - Příbram)
Ginevra joined the music scene in 1997, where initially we played cover versions of well known songs. Later we progressed to producing our own orignal work taking our influences from the many themes in our rich Czech history. In its second decade Ginevra have been greatly inspired by the ballads, myths, stories and historical events of our country. Among our songs you can find sad ballads, lively Czech country songs, chants of battle, but also songs that really make you stop and think. A number of song arrangements along with their instrumentation have been loosely shaped and inspired by the Middle Ages. The predominating contemporary musical instruments such as guitar, mandolin, mandola, electric bass, violin, flute, congas, are also accompanied by replicas of historical Crumhorn and rhythm instruments. It would be fitting and funny to describe Ginevra as "disco Charles IV“!
Concerts held in the romantic settings of our castles and museums, city celebrations focused on our history, Ginevra dressed in period costumes, all of these enable the audience to be enveloped in the atmosphere of a bygone age. Our concert tour took us through almost the whole of Bohemia and on to Luxembourg, Germany, Croatia and Poland. Ginevra have released several solo albums, a songbook and some of the songs can be found immortalized in the form of video clips.

  Die Musikgruppe Ginevra (CZ - Příbram)
Ginevra trat im Jahre 1997 der Musikszene bei. Anfangs spielte sie nur übernommene Lieder, später knüpfte Ginevra mit ihren eigenen Liedern auf Thema der tschechischen Geschichte an. Legenden, Balladen, Geschichten und historische Ereignisse sind für Ginevra seit zwei Jahrzehnten große Inspiration. Die Lieder von Ginevra sind thematisch verschieden orientiert: wir finden nicht nur traurige Balladen, lustige Tanzlieder, Minnelieder oder Kampfchoräle, sondern auch meditative Stücke zum Nachdenken. Die thematische Breite der Lieder, die frei durch Mittelalter inspiriert sind, ist im Einklang mit den Arrangements und Instrumentbesetzung der Lieder – dabei überwiegen die zeitgenossischen Musikinstrumente, z. B. Gitarren, Mandoline, elektrische Bassgitarre, Geige, Flöten, Kongo-Trommel, die mit den Repliken der historischen Krummhorne und rytmischen Musikinstrumenten ergänzt sind. Sehr treffend und witzig wird die Musik von Ginevra als „Diskothek des Karls IV.“ genannt. Bei den Konzertauftritten in der romantischen Gegend unserer Burgen, Schlösser, Museen oder auch bei den historischen Stadtfesten zieht Ginevra die mittelalterichen Kostüme an, um dem Publikum die Atmosphäre des Mittelalters besser zu vermitteln. Im Laufe der 20 Jahre gab Ginevra Konzerte in ganz Tschechien, als Gast spielte sie auch in Luxemburg, Deutschland, Croatien und Polen. Sie gab ein paar CD – Aufnahmen heraus, ein gedrucktes Liederbuch und einige Lieder wurden auch als Videoclip produziert.
